Air Vanuatu is the national airline of Vanuatu, headquartered in Port Vila and operating from its hub at Bauerfield International Airport (VLI). Following its restructuring and relaunch, the airline focuses on providing scheduled domestic passenger services throughout Vanuatu, supporting connectivity between the country's islands and regional communities.

The carrier operates an extensive domestic network linking Port Vila with destinations including Espiritu Santo, Tanna, Malekula, Pentecost, Ambae, Banks Islands, Ambrym, Epi, and other regional airports across the archipelago. These services provide essential transportation for residents, businesses, government operations, and tourism activities throughout Vanuatu.

Passenger operations are supported by a fleet comprising ATR 72-600 and De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft. The fleet is configured to serve both higher-capacity domestic routes and airports located on remote islands with shorter runways and limited infrastructure.

In addition to passenger transportation, Air Vanuatu provides domestic cargo services, enabling the movement of freight, mail, and essential supplies between islands. The airline continues to play a central role in Vanuatu's national transportation network and supports economic development, tourism, and community access across the country.
