Icelandair is the largest airline in Iceland, headquartered in Reykjavík, and
operates international passenger services from its main hub at
Keflavík
International Airport (KEF). The airline connects Iceland with a
transatlantic network across Europe and North America, using Keflavík as a
connecting hub between the two regions.
The airline operates a hub-and-spoke network with coordinated flight schedules
that enable same-day connections between Europe and North America via Iceland.
Icelandair offers two cabin classes: Economy Class and Saga Premium. Economy
Class includes complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and in-flight
entertainment, while meals and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
Saga Premium provides enhanced seating, priority services, and inclusive meals
and beverages.
The fleet consists primarily of Boeing 737 MAX and Boeing
757 aircraft, alongside Airbus A321LR aircraft which are being introduced as
part of the airline’s fleet modernization. The aircraft are configured for
short- to medium-haul and transatlantic operations.
Icelandair serves
major destinations including London, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Paris,
Amsterdam, Frankfurt, New York, Boston, Chicago, and Toronto, with additional
seasonal routes operated throughout the year.
In addition to passenger
