Antalya Airport (AYT) is the primary international gateway to the Turkish Riviera, located approximately 13 km northeast of Antalya city center. It ranks among Türkiye’s busiest airports by passenger traffic and serves as a major hub for leisure travel, with extensive seasonal and year-round connections across Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Asia.

Facilities

The airport operates three passenger terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 for international flights, and a Domestic Terminal for internal routes within Türkiye. Each terminal is equipped with check-in counters, self-service kiosks, passport control, security screening, and baggage claim areas. Additional facilities include airline lounges, duty-free shops, retail outlets, and a range of food and beverage options covering Turkish and international cuisine.

Passengers have access to free Wi-Fi, ATMs, currency exchange services, medical assistance, prayer rooms, and car rental counters. VIP and CIP services are available, offering expedited processing and private lounge access.

Airlines

Airlines operating at AYT include Turkish Airlines, SunExpress, Pegasus Airlines, Corendon Airlines, and numerous international carriers such as Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, and easyJet.

The airport offers domestic routes to cities including Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, alongside a wide network of international destinations such as Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Dubai, Doha, and Moscow, with strong seasonal capacity during peak tourism periods.

Transportation

Passengers can travel between the airport and Antalya city center via taxis, private transfers, car rentals, and public buses. The Antalya Tram (Antray) connects the airport to the city center and intercity bus terminal. Travel time to central Antalya is approximately 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic and transport mode.

Hotel shuttle services operate for many resorts along the Mediterranean coast, including areas such as Lara Beach, Belek, and Kemer.

Antalya Airport continues to expand its infrastructure to support high passenger volumes driven by international tourism. It plays a central role in connecting southern Türkiye to global travel markets.
