As the country’s busiest airport, it handles the majority of Israel’s international passenger traffic and serves as a major hub for both business and leisure travel. The airport connects Israel with destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North America, Asia, and Africa through a mix of full-service and low-cost carriers.
Facilities
The airport operates primarily through Terminal 3, which handles most
international flights, while Terminal 1 serves selected domestic and low-cost
operations. Facilities include check-in counters, automated self-service kiosks,
security screening areas, immigration and customs services, baggage claim halls,
airline lounges, duty-free shopping, pharmacies, convenience stores, and retail
outlets.
Dining options include cafés, fast-food chains, and restaurants
serving Israeli and international cuisine. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout
the terminals, along with ATMs, currency exchange services, business lounges,
prayer rooms, medical assistance, car rental counters, and accessibility
services for passengers with reduced mobility.
Airlines
Airlines operating at TLV include El Al, Lufthansa, Emirates, Air France, British Airways, United Airlines, and Wizz Air. These airlines operate domestic, regional, and long-haul routes connecting Tel Aviv with major cities such as New York, London, Paris, Dubai, Frankfurt, Rome, and Athens.
Transportation
Travelers can access Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and other parts of Israel via
taxis, intercity buses, shared shuttle services, private transfers, and Israel
Railways train services located directly beneath Terminal 3. The airport rail
station provides direct connections to Tel Aviv city center, Jerusalem, Haifa,
and additional major cities. Travel time to central Tel Aviv is 20 to 30 minutes
by train or car, depending on traffic conditions. Car rental companies and
long-term parking facilities are also available on-site.

infrastructure, and terminal services to support growing international
connectivity and passenger demand. It remains one of the Middle East’s key
