Haneda Airport (HND), officially Tokyo International Airport, is one of the two primary airports serving Tokyo, Japan. Located approximately 14 km south of central Tokyo in Ota City, it is one of the busiest airports in Asia, handling a mix of domestic and international flights that connect Japan to Asia, Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

Facilities

The airport has three terminals: Terminal 1 (Domestic), Terminal 2 (Domestic), and Terminal 3 (International), each equipped to handle arrivals and departures efficiently. Facilities include check-in counters, self-service kiosks, immigration and customs services, baggage claim, airline lounges, and duty-free shops.

Food and beverage options range from Japanese cuisine to international fast food and sit-down restaurants. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminals. Additional amenities include ATMs, currency exchange, medical facilities, business centers, prayer rooms, and special assistance services for passengers with reduced mobility.

Airlines

Airlines operating at HND include Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airways (ANA), Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and Emirates. Destinations cover domestic Japanese cities such as Osaka, Fukuoka, and Sapporo, regional hubs like Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, and Bangkok, as well as long-haul routes to Los Angeles, New York, Paris, and Dubai.

Transportation

Haneda Airport is well connected to central Tokyo via the Tokyo Monorail, linking Terminal 3 and Terminals 1/2 to Hamamatsucho Station in about 20 minutes, where passengers can access JR lines. The Keikyu Line provides an alternative rail connection to Shinagawa and other parts of Tokyo.

Taxis are available 24 hours outside the terminals, and airport limousine buses connect to major hotels and districts across Tokyo. Ride-hailing services operate locally, and car rental counters are located within all terminals.
